Taigh-leighis

A mild breeze breathes fresh air

The soft rain’s kisses settling everywhere

Critters rustling to and fro

Sovereign neighbors, a quiet home

Loved ones still soundly sleeping

As I rest peacefully in day dreaming

Angels all around me even though I’m naively unaware

Unassuming or abstract, roaring lions or quiet whispers in the air

Unearned unconditional love for a wretched sinner overflows

Places I would have never seen, angels I would’ve never known

The drops trickling from the autumn leaves

A serene, calm, late morning melody

Protectors of my body, protectors of my heart

These angels all around me never wavered from the start

It’s called the house of healing but really it is Grace

Because the healing only comes when condemnation’s been replaced

Some come to love you, some come to leave you

Some come to teach you, some stay and keep you

Without ever being asked and certainly never deserved

Angels all around me shower me with blessings and miracles
